Hybrid/remote position. Candidates must be located in the Upper Delaware, Northeast Maryland, King of Prussia, PA, or surrounding areas for consideration.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for commercial project estimating. The role involves scoping repair losses, writing and delivering timely estimates, and ensuring that estimates meet RestoreCore’s project requirements for both budget and quality. The estimator will be responsible for arriving at an approved repair scope of work and price with all involved parties including clients and insurance carriers.

For larger reconstruction losses (for example, those exceeding $100k), the estimator is expected to travel in person to assess and document losses (e.g., in Baltimore or Washington, DC), while smaller losses can be managed remotely.

Responsibilities:

· Communicate with any public authority having jurisdiction over the project, clients, adjusters, and the associated RestoreCore Business Developers

· Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients and referral sources

· Explain and sign Emergency Services Contract Agreement

· Write a detailed scope of work for the project based on visual inspection or interviews, notes, and pictures provided by others

· Complete projects within acceptable profit margins

· Respond to Adjusters and Project Managers as needed with regards to scope of work or revisions to estimates

· Document the estimate for review in DASH

· Participate in the On-Call rotation and attend any after-hours commercial loss

· Travel with field crews as needed

· For larger reconstruction losses (exceeding $100k), travel in person to perform assessments; for smaller losses, complete estimation remotely using DocuSketch.

· Attend training seminars

· Attend weekly one-on-one meetings and weekly team strategy/goal setting meetings

Skills and Training:

· Proficient knowledge of restoration job tracking software—DASH

· Functional knowledge of Xactimate estimating software

Essential Functions:

The Estimator must be able to exercise good judgment and carry out written and verbal instructions. Your job responsibilities also include extended hours as an essential function of your position because company workloads are subject to change regularly.

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, and twist; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
