LaSalle Network is looking to hire a Contract Packaging Engineer for a 6-8 month contract opportunity for one of their top clients in the CPG space.

This position will sit onsite 2-3 days a week in the western suburbs of Chicago and has the potential to extend in assignment or even convert.

Contract Packaging Engineer Responsibilities :

• The transformation of current Finished Good Specification content into future state SAP S4 Hana content
• Implement specification data quality standards and requirements
• Make necessary revisions and updates to excel templates and load files
• Communicate continuously with Symphony ITL Workstream on progress and status.

Contract Packaging Engineer Requirements :

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels of management.
• Self-directed, motivated, and good time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in the food industry, preferably in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
• 2+ years of experience within Packaging Engineering.
