Job Summary– Corporate Strategic Partnership & Guest Experience (SP&GE)  Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and supporting the successful execution of strategic partnership and event initiatives across all MetroLagoons locations. Reporting to the Strategic Partnership & Events Manager, this position provides leadership, guidance, and operational support to Lagoon On-Site Guest Experience Ambassadors while managing contracts, scheduling, and reconciliation of 3rd party contractors and business partners. The role also includes covering for On-Site Guest Experience Ambassador vacations, absences, or additional events as scheduled.

Responsibilities Includes:

1. Event and Partnership Oversight

  • Assist with and oversee strategic partnership activities and events across all MetroLagoons locations.
  • Assist with on-site presence for partnerships and events, including digital and printed signage, MetroLagoons radio programming, and other guest-facing initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to On-Site Guest Experience Ambassadors to ensure consistency and high standards of execution.

2. Contracts and Partner Management

  • Oversee contracts with 3rd party contractors and business partners, ensuring compliance with terms and alignment with MetroLagoons’ objectives.
  • Schedule and oversee 3rd party contractors and business partners to ensure proper coverage and successful event execution.
  • Reconcile activities, payments, sponsorship funding, and operational metrics of 3rd party contractors and partners to ensure accuracy and accountability.

3. Monthly SP&E Calendar

  • Collaborate with On-Site Guest Experience Ambassadors to develop and implement the monthly SP&GE calendar for each location.
  • Ensure alignment of activities with strategic goals and corporate standards.

4. Budget and Resource Oversight

  • Monitor SP&GE labor and operational expenses (OPEX) across all locations to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on spending, 3rd party contractor activities, and resource allocation.

5. Team Collaboration and Coverage

  • Work closely with On-Site SP&GE Coordinators and local teams to align on event logistics, guest experience goals, and partnership initiatives.
  • Cover for On-Site Guest Experience Ambassador vacations, absences, or additional events as needed to maintain continuity and high-quality execution.

6. Communication and Reporting

  • Maintain regular communication with the Strategic Partnership & Events Manager and other key stakeholders.
  • Compile reports on partnership performance, event outcomes, and areas for improvement, making recommendations for future initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing and advertising.
  • 2+ years of experience in event coordination, partnership management, or related roles.
  • Experience managing contracts, schedules, and budgets.
  • Proficient in event planning tools, CRM systems, and budgeting software.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

The schedule for this position is primarily Monday through Friday, with flexibility to meet event requirements, including occasional evenings and weekends. Responsibilities also include providing coverage for On-Site Guest Experience Ambassador absences, vacations, or additional events as needed.

Work Environment: This role is based at the corporate office in Tampa and requires frequent travel to MetroLagoons locations for on-site support and coordination.
