Job Description

Are you passionate about political science and education? We're looking for experienced political science educators to join our team as paid Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to help develop learning content for major academic publishers. This fully remote, flexible opportunity allows you to contribute to the creation of high-quality educational materials while maintaining your teaching schedule.

As an SME, you'll play a vital role in shaping learning content used by students nationwide. You'll work on a variety of projects and have the flexibility to accept or decline assignments based on your availability.

Areas of Expertise We're Seeking:
We are especially interested in educators with experience teaching courses in:

American Government
Political Science Research
International Studies
What You'll Do:
As a Subject Matter Expert, you'll contribute to the development of learning materials for some of the largest academic publishers in the world. Your responsibilities may include:
Creating assessment content (quizzes, exams, and exercises)
Developing question banks and course materials
Writing instructor manuals and teaching guides
Collaborating with instructional designers to ensure high-quality content

You'll also receive feedback and support from our in-house Instructional Design team to refine and enhance the content you create.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
A Master's degree or higher in Political Science, Government, International Studies, or a related field
1-2+ years of teaching experience at the collegiate level
Experience writing learning content or assessments
Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Word to complete assignments
Residency in the United States
