Are you a passionate psychology educator looking for a flexible, fully remote opportunity to apply your expertise beyond the classroom? We are seeking dedicated Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to help develop high-quality learning content for major academic publishers. This is a freelance, project-based role that allows you to work on your schedule without interfering with your teaching commitments.

As an SME, you will play a key role in shaping educational materials used by students and instructors across the United States. This is a great opportunity to contribute to academic publishing while leveraging your teaching experience and subject matter expertise.

Areas of Expertise We're Looking For:
We're particularly interested in educators who have taught courses in:

Neuroscience (with a focus on drugs and behavior)
Human Sexuality
Developmental/Lifespan Psychology
Educational Psychology
Health Psychology
Research Methods

What You'll Do:
As a Subject Matter Expert, you will help develop a variety of educational materials, including:

Assessment Content - Craft thought-provoking, well-structured questions that align with course objectives.
Question Banks & Course Content - Develop test banks and course materials that enhance student learning.
Instructor Manuals - Provide clear and comprehensive instructional resources for educators.
Teaching Guides - Assist in designing teaching aids that improve classroom engagement.
Your work will contribute to some of the most widely used educational resources published by leading academic publishers. You will also receive support and feedback from our in-house Instructional Designers to ensure content meets high educational standards.

What We're Looking For:
A Master's degree or higher in Psychology or a related field.
At least 1-2 years of college-level teaching experience in Psychology.
Experience writing educational content or assessments.
Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to clarity and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word for content creation.
Must be based in the United States.
