Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for the technical administrative management of multiple construction projects, day to day management of change orders, submittals, procurement, and schedules as well as adhering to cost control so as to build upon the companies' reputation for extraordinary customer service.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
1. Review project scope, specifications and architectural drawings for residential and commercial projects to insure accuracy.
2. Follow a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project following a logical pattern for the utilization of resources, including project buy-outs and close-outs.
3. Monitor and control project progress to ensure it is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
4. Work closely with project superintendents to ensure they are managing the project and installers efficiently.
5. Perform additional assignments as directed by company management.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications and spreadsheets is required. Proficiency with mathematical calculations is necessary. Must possess ability to read and understand blueprints and project specifications.
