We’re looking for a Mobile App Developer (aka The App Innovator) to design, develop, and maintain mobile applications that make an impact.

As a Mobile App Developer at our client , you’ll work on building native and cross-platform mobile applications that solve real-world problems. Whether you're creating slick user interfaces or optimizing performance, you'll be at the heart of delivering top-notch mobile experiences that delight users.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Mobile App Development:
  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance, cross-platform mobile applications using frameworks like React Native, Flutter, or native languages like Swift (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android). You’ll ensure the apps are responsive, user-friendly, and performant.
User Interface (UI) Implementation:
  • Collaborate closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect UIs that look great and work smoothly on mobile devices. You’ll focus on providing a seamless experience by creating responsive layouts and fluid animations.
Mobile API Integration:
  • Integrate mobile applications with back-end services and APIs to provide dynamic content and real-time data. You’ll work with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party services to ensure the app communicates effectively with the server.
Performance Optimization:
  • Analyze and optimize the performance of mobile applications to ensure they run smoothly on various devices. You’ll reduce load times, optimize memory usage, and ensure that apps remain responsive under high traffic or user load.
Testing and Debugging:
  • Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications to ensure they are bug-free, secure, and reliable. You’ll write unit tests, integration tests, and automate testing to catch issues early and improve code quality.
Cross-Platform Compatibility:
  • Ensure that applications function flawlessly across different devices, operating systems, and screen sizes. You’ll test and debug mobile apps on both iOS and Android platforms to provide a consistent user experience.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to align on features, functionality, and user experience. You’ll collaborate throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful app delivery.

Required Skills:

  • Mobile Development Expertise: Proficiency in developing mobile applications using either native technologies (Swift for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android) or cross-platform frameworks like React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin. You have experience building mobile apps from scratch and deploying them to app stores.
  • UI/UX Focus: Experience with implementing mobile user interfaces that provide a great user experience. You have a strong eye for detail, ensuring that UIs are pixel-perfect and user-friendly.
  • API and Back-End Integration: Experience in integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other back-end services. You understand how to efficiently manage data and provide real-time updates to the mobile app.
  • Testing and Debugging: Strong debugging skills and experience with testing mobile applications using tools like Jest, Espresso, XCTest, or other mobile testing frameworks.
  • Version Control and Collaboration Tools: Experience with Git and version control systems, as well as collaboration tools like Jira, Trello, or Slack. You’re comfortable working in Agile environments and participating in sprint cycles.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mobile App Development, or a related field. Equivalent experience in mobile app development is also valued.
  • Certifications or additional coursework in mobile app development, iOS/Android development, or cross-platform frameworks are a plus.

Experience Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in mobile app development, with a proven track record of building and deploying mobile apps on iOS and/or Android platforms. You’ve worked on production-level applications that have been published to app stores.
  • Hands-on experience with both frontend (UI/UX) and backend integration is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with deploying and maintaining apps on the App Store and Google Play, as well as knowledge of app store guidelines and compliance.
