Job Description

Project Coordinator, Contract

As a Project Coordinator, you will support/lead all project phases, including the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure. You are responsible for communicating with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other departments impacting projects and deploying a hands-on approach to execute your identified tasks and deliverables.

Day to Day

  • Supervise current projects and coordinate with all team members to keep deliverables on track.
  • Document/maintain and organize project artifacts including but not limited to: project plans, timelines, risks, charters, business cases, stakeholder summaries, and detailed project analysis.
  • Assess stakeholder needs, define project requirements, acceptance criteria and project timelines
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical challenges and develop solutions.
  • Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project presentations, memos, meeting minutes and email updates.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and diplomacy in all levels of management.
  • Work with minimal supervision, have strong initiative and follow-up with focus on details
  • Prioritizes activities and takes prompt action based on an understanding of departmental objectives and business needs.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure meetings are prioritized and occur within appropriate timelines.
  • Ensure team’s preparedness for meetings (e.g., assemble meeting materials, assist with PowerPoint presentations, & pre-reads)
  • Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary.

*This role is a 12-month contract opportunity.

Essentials

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
  • Minimum of 3 + years working experience
  • Familiarity with Agile Principles (Scrum, Sprints)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Operational Excellence, Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills, pays close attention to detail and follow-up, and properly balances priorities and resources
  • Ability to prioritize, pro-actively work independently and collaboratively across organizational levels, functions, and supports business needs across different time zones and during periods of heavy workload
  • Ability to adapt quickly to competing priorities while remaining focused
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Exhibits a positive work attitude, and high productivity
  • Proven track record of collaboration team members to ensure business needs/goals are met

Applicable Pay Range

$65,674- $98,512

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, pension plan, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are subject to eligibility.
