Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing large-scale Oracle database environments, including both production and non-production databases. This role requires expertise in FileNet schemas and structure, as well as advanced knowledge of Oracle database administration.

Key Responsibilities

Database Administration: Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of Oracle databases.
FileNet Management: Maintain and manage FileNet schemas and structures.
Database Security: Implement security policies, manage user access, and ensure compliance with best practices.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries.
Backup & Recovery: Establish and maintain reliable backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Support & Maintenance: Provide day-to-day support for database-related issues and collaborate with developers and support teams.
Database Reporting: Generate and publish regular health check reports to ensure optimal database performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing large-scale database environments with thousands of databases.
Extensive experience with Oracle databases and Oracle Database Administration.
Proficiency with FileNet schemas and structure.
Oracle Database Administration certification preferred.
