Job Description
The President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the key leader responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and success of the organization. This individual will oversee all operational, financial, and strategic activities to ensure the organization fulfills its mission and serves the health needs of its community.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the organization's day-to-day operations in alignment with its mission, vision, and values.
Develop and implement both short-term and long-term strategic goals, ensuring they meet organizational objectives.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards, providing oversight of regulatory guidelines and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with the Board of Trustees to report on the status of services, finances, and organizational performance.
Prepare, manage, and oversee the development of budgets and financial plans, ensuring the integrity of all financial operations.
Guide and provide leadership to the medical staff, fostering an environment of cooperation and collaboration.
Engage with community leaders to ensure the organization remains aligned with the needs of the communities it serves.
Represent the organization in the broader healthcare community, building partnerships and fostering growth.
Lead the organization's efforts in meeting financial and operational goals, working toward the highest quality patient care and service.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (or willingness to obtain within 12-18 months).
At least 5 years of senior-level healthcare management experience.
Experience leading both hospital-based services and other healthcare services, such as skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient clinics.
Background in rural healthcare executive leadership is preferred.
Active participation in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software is beneficial.
Residence within the primary service area, or willingness to relocate within one year.
