Job Description

Dutchman Hospitality Group, Inc (DHG) , is seeking an energetic and organized PR Coordinator to join our marketing team and manage our written content creation, public relations and community communications efforts. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our company's brand and reputation. This position will report to the Director of Marketing.

What you’ll be doing

1. Write press releases, articles, guides, ads, blogs, and other marketing materials
2. Review and proofread marketing materials for proper verbiage, grammar, and spelling
3. Submit press releases, communicate with media outlets and influencers, monitor media coverage and report on performance
4. Create and implement PR strategies, assist with planning special events, and provide public speaking, as needed
5. Attend and contribute to business associations' meetings, local events, and community sales calls and outreach
6. Maintain and update community event calendars
7. Assist with other various marketing initiatives and projects.

Skills you’ll bring along

1. Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail *Candidates will be asked to send writing samples
2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
3. Proven experience in public relations or a similar role
4. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
5. Creative, detail-oriented, and a team player

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred
2. 2-4 years' experience in written content development and/or public relations
3. Familiarity with public relations software and media monitoring tools preferred

Job Type

1. Full time M-F 8:00am to 5:00pm
2. This is an onsite position in Walnut Creek, OH (no remote work)
