Skills Trainer Assessor in Plumbing

Stamford College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Skills Trainer Assessor in Plumbingto join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for both qualified and unqualified candidates to make a significant impact on the development of apprentices and work-based learners in the plumbing sector. Salary:

• Unqualified:£29,400 per annum - £32,095 per annum (dependent on contract type) + annual MRA of £2,000
• Qualified (L3 TAQA or equivalent):£31,167 per annum - £34,017 per annum (dependent on contract type) + annual MRA of £4,000
• Qualified (L4 TAQA or equivalent):£33,044 per annum - £36,059 per annum (dependent on contract type) + annual MRA of £4,000

Hours:

• 37 hours per week, all year round

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, coaching, and mentoring support to apprentices and work-based learners in plumbing.
• Support learners in achieving success within the relevant apprenticeship framework or apprenticeship standard.
• Assess qualifications related to the apprenticeship or work-based programme, ensuring timely and accurate achievement.
• Facilitate regular performance development reviews with apprentices and employers, offering coaching and guidance to enhance learning and progression.
• Work collaboratively with the wider Academy team to deliver high-quality apprenticeship and work-based learning services.

Essential Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Level 3 qualificationin the relevant vocational industry (plumbing).
• Assessing qualification(TAQA or equivalent).
• English and Maths Level 2or above.

Desirable:

• Experience in apprenticeship delivery and assessment.
