As the International School of Texas (IST) continues to grow, we announce our search for a full-time Secondary Mathematics Teacher to begin duties in August 2025. This position’s primary responsibility will be to teach mathematics to International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Program (MYP) and Diploma Program (DP) students.

The primary responsibility of this position is to teach Mathematics to middle school and high school students, ensure student engagement and maintain curriculum alignment across grades 6-12. Preference will be given to teachers with experience teaching in an International Baccalaureate School.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The Mathematics Teacher must have experience teaching in the middle and/or high school years. The successful candidate should have a strong belief in progressive education and have experience integrating curriculum with authentic, inquiry-based or project-based learning. This position requires an openness to new technology platforms and their integration into all aspects of the classroom.
In addition to teaching responsibilities, IST faculty have the opportunity to lead in a variety of extracurricular and club activities that enrich the IST experience. From soccer and art clubs to robotics and cross-country, IST Trailblazers take their learning outside of the classroom through their participation in clubs and teams that enrich their bodies and minds.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s Degree or higher in a related field with an increased stipend rewarded
- Teaching Certification from any state or country.
- Five plus years of teaching experience.
- Two plus years of International Baccalaureate MYP and/or DP teaching experience in Mathematics.
- Pedagogical best practices integrated with SEL/Mindfulness.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Pay: $55,000--$75,000 per year, dependent on experience.
