SIS is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to support the Air Force Onsite at Warner Robins AFB, GA. Primary Duties: - Works as part of a team to install and maintain video teleconferencing and audio-visual equipment.
- Responsible for customer service and support, onsite hardware repair, AV/VTC equipment installation, asset management, update firmware and software, Tier 2 issue resolution, performing preventative maintenance, working according to project schedules, and housekeeping and general cleanliness of satellite office.
- Provide Tier 2 helpdesk support for issues that cannot be resolved remotely or over the phone.
Secondary Duties: - Equipment inventory, conduct preventative maintenance, maintain documentation, and updating software/firmware on AV/VTC equipment.
- Provide after-hours phone support on a rotating basis.
- May occasionally provide short-term support at other US Locations.
Education / Experience: - 2+ years performing hardware installations for audio visual equipment (e.g., projectors, monitors, televisions, video walls, codecs, sound systems, cameras, speakers, processors, amplifiers, mics, and associated gear, etc.).
- Must be able to independently install equipment according to drawings and schematics.
- Must be able to operate hand tools and terminate cables.
- Must be able to read wiring diagrams, Visio drawings, and schematics.
- Must be able to interact with military and government personnel in a professional manner.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and to stand for long periods of time.
- CTS or CCNA or any industry certifications would be a plus (i.e., Polycom, Cisco, AMX, Crestron etc.).
- Experience with classified communications a plus.
- High School diploma.
- Must be able to pass a criminal and credit background check and must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- US Citizenship is mandatory.
