Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Civil Aviation Project Manager to join our dynamic team! As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget while building strong client relationships. Your engineering expertise will help guide and support the successful completion of aviation projects, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:
- Oversee the successful execution of projects by following established Project Management policies and procedures.
- Develop project scopes of services, negotiate fees, and ensure the team delivers quality results.
- Manage project tasks, lead a team, and ensure projects stay on track with respect to time and budget.
- Work with clients to identify additional service opportunities and manage fee structures.
- Maintain high client satisfaction by meeting or exceeding expectations and promptly addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with the Project Accountant to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, assisting with collections when needed.

Engineering:
- Act as the Engineer of Record for assigned projects.
- Develop innovative, safe, and effective engineering solutions that address client needs.
- Implement the Quality Control Plan to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Manage work plans, schedules, and budgets for production teams.
- Assist with preparing scopes and budgets for new task orders or amendments.
- Lead design teams in aviation airside and/or landside projects, using AutoCAD and Civil 3D to produce plans.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and assistance to the design staff throughout the project.
- Knowledge of airport airside, landside, and infrastructure projects is preferred, as well as familiarity with FAA and TSA regulations and AIP funding requirements.

Business Development (BD):
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing and past clients to maintain positive engagement.
- Actively seek business development opportunities through client marketing and outreach.
- Participate in industry events and contribute to social media and internal communications to support the company's brand.
- Lead or contribute to business development efforts, including developing strategies, preparing technical write-ups, and participating in presentations and interviews.

Required Experience:
- Typically, at least five (5) years of relevant experience in civil aviation project management.
- Experience managing projects of various sizes and complexities, coordinating multiple disciplines.

Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):
- Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circulars, Engineering Briefs, pavement design, and FAAR Field Design Software.
