Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cyber Security Research Specialist with our client in the financial industry. This is a 12+ month remote contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Cyber Security Research, contributing to large-scale planning and execution
- Review and analyze multi-faceted cybersecurity challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors to create actionable solutions
- Represent the organization in confidential meetings with industry peers and public partnerships to maintain strong external relationships and advance security initiatives
- Lead or participate in the research, design, testing, and implementation of complex network security and protection technologies
- Review and analyze advanced incident response activities and investigate information security breaches, providing thorough analysis and recommendations
- Serve as a liaison between External Intelligence teams and internal peer teams, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration
- Create and deliver TEAR sheets for executive leadership, summarizing critical findings and insights
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and management to resolve issues and meet strategic goals
Requirements: - 4+ years of Cyber Security Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
- Active US Top Secret Clearance with the Department of the Treasury (Non-Negotiable)
- Proven experience in computer network security and protection technologies
- Strong background in incident response and breach investigation
- Skilled in collaborating with external intelligence teams and building internal alignment
- Effective communication skills, particularly in creating executive-level summaries and reports
Pay Range: $52-$62 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
