The successful candidate for this position will be a 1099 contractor with Music Ministry International and be responsible for the following:
1.1 Description of Services/Introduction: The musician shall provide all personnel equipment supplies facilities transportation tools materials supervision and other items and nonpersonal services necessary to perform music services (organist/pianist/singer) as defined in this JOB DESCRIPTION except for those items specified as government furnished property (GFP) and government furnished services (GFS). The musician shall perform to the standards in this contract.
1.2 Background: The musician shall be able to perform during Nondenominational Worship Services and when required provide music for holy/festival day services.
1.3 Objectives: The musician shall be a fully qualified pianist/organist that is fully capable of playing congregational hymns responses instrumental interludes limited sight reading on the chapel organ (typical Nondenominational Worship Services service)
1.4 Scope: The musicians incumbent must be able to play the piano/organ for the designated Wednesday Nondenominational Worship Services at Healer Chapel. Services include accompany singing of hymns choruses and spiritual songs; perform prelude postlude offertory and background for meditation and prayers that enhances the atmosphere or worship for this congregation. The Musician shall accomplish appropriate organ/piano/keyboard music playing Wednesday music playing.
1.5 Period of Performance: The period of performance will be 3 January 2025 to 2 January 2030 based on the governments yearly renewal process.
1.6.4 Hours of Operation: Nondenominational Worship Services between the hours ofon Wednesdays. Special occasions not to exceed 10 hours per year will not be day/time specific and will vary based on pianist availability. The Musician must at all times maintain an adequate workforce for the uninterrupted performance of all tasks defined within this JOB DESCRIPTION when the Government facility is not closed for the above reasons. When hiring personnel the Musician shall keep in mind that the stability and continuity of the workforce are essential. For other than firm fixed price contracts the musician will not be reimbursed when the government facility is closed for the above reasons. The Musician must at all times maintain an adequate workforce for the uninterrupted performance of all tasks defined within this JOB DESCRIPTION when the Government facility is not closed for the above reasons.
1.6.5 Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Evans Army Community Hospital Healer Chapel 1650 Cochrane Circle Bldg 7500 Fort Carson Colorado 80913
